Who we are

Gabriele Paolo Jewellery is the trading name of Gabriele Gucci, a sole trader, of 2 New Cottages, Welton Le Wold, Louth, LN11 0QT. Email: info@gabrielegucci.co.uk. We are the controller of the personal information described here.

What we collect

  • When you enquire through our website: your name, email address, phone number (optional), the type of piece, budget, target date, how you heard about us, and your message.
  • When you commission or buy: your delivery address, details of your piece (such as ring size and engraving text), and payment records. Card details are handled by our payment providers and are never seen or stored by us.
  • When you visit the site: our hosting provider processes technical data such as your IP address and browser type to deliver and secure the website.

Why we use it

  • To reply to your enquiry and prepare a proposal, at your request before entering into a contract.
  • To make, deliver and look after your piece, to perform our contract with you.
  • To keep accounts and records required by HMRC, to meet our legal obligations.

We do not sell your information, and we do not use it for marketing without your consent.

Who we share it with

Only service providers who help us run the business:

  • Resend, which delivers website enquiries to our inbox
  • Titan (via 123 Reg), which hosts our email
  • Lovable, which hosts this website on Cloudflare's network
  • Stripe and Zettle by PayPal, for card payments
  • Sage, for bookkeeping
  • The insured courier delivering your piece

Some providers may process data outside the UK. Where they do, they rely on recognised safeguards such as UK adequacy regulations or standard contractual clauses.

How long we keep it

  • Enquiries that do not lead to a commission: two years, then deleted.
  • Customer and transaction records: six years after the end of the tax year they relate to, as required for tax purposes.

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct or delete your information, to restrict or object to how we use it, or for a copy to take elsewhere. Email info@gabrielegucci.co.uk and we will reply within one month. If you are unhappy with how we handle your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.

Cookies

We do not use advertising or tracking cookies, and our pages, images and fonts are served from our own website. Our hosting provider sets two strictly necessary cookies: one that serves the current version of the site, and a Cloudflare security cookie (__cf_bm) that helps block automated traffic and expires after 30 minutes. These do not require your consent.

Photographs and testimonials

Photographs of finished pieces may be used in our portfolio and on social media without identifying you. We only publish your name, image or testimonial with your consent.

Keeping your information safe

We take appropriate measures to protect your information, and access is limited to what is needed to run the business. If a breach occurs that is likely to affect you, we will tell you and, where required, the ICO.

If you do not provide information

If you choose not to give us information we need, such as a delivery address, we may not be able to complete your order.

Children

Our services are not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.

Other websites

Our website links to other sites, such as Instagram. Their privacy practices are their own.
